Can OPSNET automatically process MVT and LDM messages?
Yes, OPSNET has the capability to automatically process MVT (Movement Messages) and LDM (Load Messages). These messages are automatically parsed and assigned to the corresponding flights within the system.
This automation ensures that ground handling staff have quick and accurate access to critical operational data without the need for manual input, streamlining workflow and reducing the risk of errors.
-
Where does OPSNET source real-time ETA and flight information from?
OPSNET integrates real-time flight data directly from Flightradar24. This ensures that estimated time of arrival (ETA) and other crucial flight information are always up-to-date.
By leveraging Flightradar24’s comprehensive live data feed, OPSNET provides accurate and timely flight monitoring, allowing ground handling teams to plan and adjust their operations with precision.
-
Is it possible to import and display CTOT in real time with OPSNET?
Yes, OPSNET offers the option to import and display Calculated Take-Off Time (CTOT) data in real time. Currently, this feature is available exclusively for the airspace managed by Eurocontrol.
Please note that this is an optional paid add-on. Once activated, it provides real-time CTOT updates directly within the OPSNET interface, allowing ground handling staff to stay informed and manage operations more efficiently.
-
Are there additional modules planned for OPSNET?
Yes, OPSNET is continuously evolving to meet the demands of modern ground handling companies. The following modules are currently in development:
Gate Control: A dedicated module for passenger handling staff, including daily planning and real-time flight information. This module will also feature a mobile-optimized version, allowing gate agents to access relevant data and manage tasks directly from their smartphones.
Fleet Control: This module will facilitate the management of vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE). It will include features for tracking the condition of assets, generating status reports, and optionally providing GPS-based location tracking to optimize fleet management and maintenance.
These and many other modules will further enhance OPSNET’s ability to provide comprehensive and efficient ground operations management. Stay tuned for updates!
